Is my Arabic good enough?
We teach in Classical Arabic alone, with no translation. This is the honest question to ask — so answer it yourself. Below are four passages from the sciences we teach, rising in difficulty. Read each one and judge honestly.

العلمُ نورٌ يهدي صاحبَه إلى الحقِّ، والجهلُ ظُلمةٌ تُضِلُّه عنه.
- Logic (manṭiq)2
الحدُّ التّامُّ ما يتركَّبُ من الجنسِ القريبِ والفصلِ القريبِ.
- Uṣūl al-fiqh3
الأمرُ المُطلقُ لا يقتضي التَّكرارَ عند الجمهورِ، إلَّا أن يَقترنَ به ما يدلُّ عليه.

الجوهرُ الفردُ عند المتكلِّمين جزءٌ لا يَتجزَّأُ، يقومُ بذاتِه ويَقبَلُ الأعراضَ، وأثبتوه لِيَنقطعَ التَّسلسلُ في الانقسام.
